Thinking about switching my whole route to liquid chlorine, talk me out of it

Been running tabs on most of my residential accounts for years and I'm sick of the price hikes, feels like every season the distributor jacks it up again. Been kicking around switching to liquid on the accounts where I can get to them weekly, keep CYA from creeping up on everybody.

My worry is logistics, hauling jugs around in the truck all day in the Florida heat, and the accounts that only get serviced every other week where I can't keep a steady residual. Anybody run a mixed route like that, some liquid some tabs depending on the account. My own pool I've been dosing liquid all summer and CYA finally sits where I want it instead of climbing every month, but that's one pool I see every day, not eighty.

Not running a route so take this for what it's worth, but on my own pool I noticed the CYA thing too once I switched to liquid, sits right around 40 now instead of climbing to 80 plus like it did on tabs every summer. Only downside for me was jug storage, in this Myrtle Beach humidity a case doesn't keep near as long sitting in the garage as tabs did in the bucket. Eighty accounts on liquid with any gap longer than a few days between visits sounds like a losing fight to me, but that's just watching my one pool, not running your route.

Not my department really since I'm plumbing not chemicals, but before anybody chimes in on the every-other-week accounts, what kind of feeder or automation you got on those, straight pump and manual dosing or is there an erosion feeder or salt cell doing the background work between visits? Makes a big difference whether liquid only is even in the cards for those.
