Thinking about calling an RO truck before calcium creeps up again, worth it

Fill water here tests over 400 before I even add a drop of anything, and every year it climbs a little more from evaporation and topping off. Draining a chunk and refilling with tap just puts me right back where I started. Seen a couple companies around the valley that'll bring an RO truck and swap out a portion of your water instead of hauling fresh calcium back in. Anyone actually done this on a pebble pool. What's it run you and did it make a real dent or was it a one season fix before the tap water walks it right back up. Not looking for a miracle product, just want to know if this is worth the money before I call around and get quoted something stupid.

Haven't dealt with fill water anywhere near 400 (Orlando tap is nowhere close, so genuinely no firsthand comparison here), but before you spend money on the truck, what's your evaporation vs splash-out ratio actually look like. If most of your water loss is straight evaporation, the calcium stays behind and concentrates, refilling with the same hard tap water just marches it right back up like you said. But if a chunk of your loss is backwash or splashing out and getting replaced, that's actual dilution happening already. Screened enclosure means my evaporation is probably lower than yours, so my LSI math isn't going to translate, but that ratio is the thing that tells you if RO buys you multiple seasons or just one before tap water walks it back up.
