Living in an elder stucco home, we're always dealing with ground level cracks, splashes, and other little upsets. We determined the best approach to be adding a stone veneer and cap on the lower two-feet of stucco surrounding three sides of our house. I reached out to English Stone to get an estimate on 6/23/25 and Joel Forsberg, the owner, was at our house two days later, on time & very friendly, to take a look at what needed to be done with our front steps and walkway/patio. The estimate was in my e-mail shortly thereafter, that day. The work was scheduled after I waited to get two other estimates, one which was very long in coming and the other, which never happened. I was very pleased with the work English Stone did on my patio. The entire process was excellent from start to finish. The sales team provided great recommendations on the style and color of the pavers, and I’m glad I followed their advice. The installation was well organized, efficient, and completed quickly. Our house is a 1927 Tudor that is coming up on its 100 year birthday. The front yard landscaping had been done in three distinct phases over the years so it had three distinct types of stone in various conditions. Joel and the team not only found the perfect stone to fit with the home, they did an incredible job in the stone masonry and block work. English Stone is one of those rare companies that strives to exceed your expectations. In order to support this statement let's talk about the four Ps. Project: We had an ugly, weed infested rock garden on a hill adjacent to the back of our home with a rotted and leaning retaining wall ready to collapse.
