Finally smoothed a liner wrinkle without draining the whole pool

Had a wrinkle by the ladder steps since we filled back in May, walked past it every day annoyed. Finally just went in with the pump off, worked it toward the wall with my hand nice and slow, water still in there the whole time, took maybe twenty minutes standing in my swim trunks feeling dumb. Popped right out, laying flat as the day we put the liner in. No draining, no patch kit, no calling anybody. Wish I'd tried that back in May instead of just staring at it all summer telling the kids not to snag their feet on it, buddy.

Hey Sam, before I get too jealous here, was that wrinkle right after fill up still or had it been sitting under water pressure a whole season by the time you worked on it. Reason I ask, mine gets one by the stairs most years too but if I catch it early it walks out easy, once it's been there a couple months with the liner stretched around it that's a different animal. Twenty minutes in your trunks feeling dumb beats a drain and refill any day of the week though, that's for sure.
