PoolPad Verified helps customers know they're viewing information associated with the actual business. When you see the PoolPad Verified badge, PoolPad has confirmed that the business controls the website connected to its PoolPad profile.

What it means

A business with the Verified mark has proven to PoolPad that it controls the website listed on its profile — by placing a unique PoolPad Verified badge or verification tag on that site, which PoolPad checks and keeps re-checking.

So when you compare pool builders and service companies on PoolPad, the Verified mark tells you the profile and the website belong together, and that the business behind the website is the one managing the listing.

What it doesn't mean

PoolPad Verified is about website control only. It is not a review of a company's licensing, insurance, workmanship, pricing, reviews or reputation, and it isn't a PoolPad recommendation. Do the same homework you would with any contractor: check licenses with your state, ask for proof of insurance, and read the reviews.

How a business gets verified

Free for every claimed listing, and it takes about two minutes.

  1. Claim the listing. A pool company claims its free PoolPad listing and confirms the business details, including its website.
  2. Add the badge. From the dashboard it customizes a PoolPad Verified badge to match its website and adds the code — a plain link and image, no scripts — anywhere on the site. Businesses that prefer not to display a badge can add a hidden verification tag instead.
  3. PoolPad checks the site. PoolPad looks for that business's unique verification code on its website. The badge links straight back to the business's own PoolPad profile.
  4. The mark appears. The profile shows the Verified mark next to the business name, and PoolPad keeps checking that the badge or tag stays in place.
