We originally bought our pool cover from Poolsafe. Short cover life (3.5 years! Twice!! What?!?!?), mediocre installation, like they were figuring it out as they went along (to be fair, that was 20 years ago, but I was not impressed) and ridiculously expensive service calls. And their sales pitch about saving money overall because you use less chemicals, water, etc. was a crock when you consider the monthly cost of a cover that only lasts 3.5 years. We used Alternative Pool Systems to install a new cover for our new pool just over a year ago. The cover has stopped working three times now among other problems. Each time, it takes at least three phone calls, sometimes more to get them to come out. Twice they came to fix a problem and the problem was still there after they left. This requires more phone calls to follow up and get them back out. The first problem we had was that the cover would not completely open and was tracking askew. This left a 5 inch gap at one end of the cover when fully opened. We had a friend over with a two-year-old…

They replaced my pool covers, were super friendly, and helped me troubleshoot an issue when it came up months later. They could have come out and charged me, but Beau walked me through fixing it myself on the phone. I am really appreciative that they didn't come out and charge me for a simple fix

they have done super job over many years. Most recently, we needed to fix the tracking system. A part broke, and a new motor needed. Erik hustled to find one, just before the Christmas holidays when things were jammed up , did it and got everything done just before the family arrived. It all works well. This sort of responsiveness has been my experience for several years. Fine service, quite knowledgable. And they fixed other parts of the system as well.

Bought a very expensive motorized cover from this company. The cover did not last long and they will not even service it. Absolutely terrible contractor. Avoid
