Like others I’ve had terrible experiences with the lifeguards they send. Unprofessional, incompetent. One literally didn’t hear me or bother to look up from his phone while I was standing in front of him to ask a question. There were toddlers in the pool at the time.

Most of the lifeguards that work for American Pools are extremely unprofessional … unaware of pool activities, buried in their phones, listening to music when they should be looking out for the welfare and safety of the swimmers. They are consistently tardy for their shifts; it’s a shame that it’s so hard to find decent lifeguards who respect their profession.

I set up a pool opening twice with this company. The y came the first day at 4 pm and because of weather had to cancel. This is understandable. They rescheduled me for the last day of the week but as usual they won't give a time. They came to my house at 4 pm and told me they couldn't do it today. The owner called and was going to come out again on Wednesday but still wouldn't give a time. I told him what I thought of him. live close to the Warwick area get someone else. If you want a lifeguard who is texting on their phone all day and not watching your kids in the pool, then you've found the right place. Very irresponsible.
