I was referred by Jandy to contact Downtown Pools for a warranty service on a salt cell. DP ended up telling me the Jandy salt cell I purchased from another vendor was not covered under warranty even though I went through the process directly with Jandy. I requested a service call and the technician simply told me to replace the part which essentially the same information I provided upfront. So I paid for a service fee of $149 for them to confirm what I already knew with no actual repair work performed.

I have used them for several years, but on two different occasions, their service person took my filter apart and told me it was broken and left my system out of service. On another occasion, the filter was not put together properly and it emptied out about half my pool onto my yard. All three times, I was able to put my filter back together myself with no issues. Kerry is a a good guy and very nice, but I can't have inept service. I'm sure I will get blasted for this, but it is 100% truthful.

I was looking for someone to clean my pool. Made an appointment to have someone come next Monday. I got a call back from Kerry saying that I had asked for a quote from them two years ago and never responded to them. Then he got insulting about how I was wasting his time. Very bad attitude. Worst experience with any company in many years.

We have had them for almost 3 years never an issue. If a have a question or concern i just call Kerry and hes in top of things. My pool guy is absolutely the best.
