We are extremely happy with phase 1 of 2 of our landscaping project done Highlands Landscaping. Phase 2, the planting project, will be in May. From start to finish this project went very well. The Landscape Designer and Estimator, John, was very clear and communicative and listened to what we we wanted. Our Project Manager, Nikola, was a pleasure to work with and you could tell he really cared about doing a good job. The installation crew was very polite and professional. Highlands Landscaping did a great job on our yard! We have a big ol' pine tree and the needles turned half our back yard into a dirt patch (I guess the pine needles are very acidic and bad for the soil and grass). So, Desmond came and helped us talk about putting in a paver patio and some rocks (so it wouldn't be quite as expensive as a patio all the way and we could dig up the rocks to access the sprinkler system if we ever needed too without the pain of disturbing the patio). Highlands Landscaping recently transformed our backyard and we could not be happier!! From figuring out design with Brandon to efficient and beautiful from with Salvador and his team, we were thrilled from beginning to end. We had a great experience working with Highlands Landscaping for our front yard overhaul! The coordinator responded the same day to schedule our estimate and communicated well from start to finish. Brandon, our designer/estimator helped us track down the perfect material for our (somewhat unconventional) walkway. We highly recommend Highlands Landscaping. The project (removing grass and replacing with hardscape, mulch, and plants) was made so easy. Panto, the project manager, was knowledgeable, easy to work with, and very professional. The crew who performed the labor were also professional, efficient and very hard workers. The work was performed in 2.5 days and began prior to the expected start date, which was a wonderful surprise. We will definitely use Highlands Landscaping for future projects.

Highlands redid our backyard after bad grading and irrigation/water settling issues. They regraded the yard and fixed the drainage issues we were having. They also added garden beds and filled them with rock and mulch and also installed a step for our porch to help with leveling. More importantly, they showed up early, finished the project under time and under budget, tracked their work to our requests and then showed actual cost vs estimated (I’ll reiterate that they came in under their initial estimate). Every aspect of our project went well. The upfront planning, communicating timelines, mid project assessments. Highlands was easy to reach, the project was on time and on budget and looks great. They may not be the cheapest bid, but the project will be done right and they manage everything. We had to regrade the backyard after replacing a sewer pipe, install a brand new sprinkler system, install sod in the back and create a no-grass combined rock area and bushes in the front. Looks great. I highly recommend this company.
