We love the pool that Pleasure Pools completed for us in June 2024. It took about 5 months to complete and they finished on time. We do still have a few loose ends to have finished up, needing a spa light that had shipping delays and our concrete still needs sealed. They are working on getting those scheduled. We have been very happy with the pool overall and have already made so many great family memories! The design turned out exactly as we had envisioned and Pleasure Pools was reasonable on pricing and very flexible on small modifications throughout the build.

I am writing this review to hopefully keep another innocent person from experiencing the same service that I have experienced from this pool company. I was persuaded to use this company 3 years ago to build my pool. It’s been nothing but trouble from the beginning. I’ve spent a lot of money, time, and frustration only to be stuck with an ugly concrete hole in my backyard. The very FIRST year I had the pool and every single summer after, this pool has gotten cracks in the gunnite that leak water out of the pool. The first year the backwash line busted. See photo below. I only gave them 1 star because it’s impossible to write a review and give them 0 stars. Do not do business with this company. After having a “resort pool“ built in my backyard, I ran into numerous problems with leaks in the walls, and it took three years for them to get it fixed, and I’m not even sure they are fixed now. The latest issue is the bowl lights and landscaping lights that are not functioning properly and apparently cannot be replaced because the company that bought them doesn’t produce them anymore. They did a 1.5 million dollar lazy river and 2 big pools for a company I work at and we have had nothing but problems with it. First off we can’t use the booster jets in the lazy river because it leaks water faster than we can put it in with 4 water hoses. We spent 50k this year to try and find the leak and the plumbers said it’s leaking in too many spots, it needs redone. The volleyball pool leaks water bad. Tiles around the top of the pool fall off every week. The pool company refuses to fix it. I would not recommend this pool company to anybody.

We contracted them to put in a pool for our disabled son so we could do water therapy and try to get some strength back after him fighting back to back illnesses. We stressed the issue that we needed the pool for this summer so we could get him therapy. We were told to give them a year which is July 29th 2023 but that it should be done by June. So we signed the contract. We are 2 days away from that year date and the pool is not done. They don't return phone calls and if you do get ahold of them they have an excuse. If they do come do work they work a day or 2 then you don't see them for moths…

The lack of communication and follow-through is frustrating. Spend this kind of money to have problems year after year. If only we could do it all over again. I wish I never did business with this company. Nothing about our experience has been pleasant.

Project was supposed to be completed in April 2022. It was not completed until June 2023. They started working on it in November 2022. Payment was expected upfront...not a problem. But timelines were NEVER met. Additionally, a rust spot came through in less than 6 months, within warranty. I repeatedly emailed and texted Travis Swafford, the project manager. He repeatedly assured me it wasn't a big issue and that he would get it fixed. I have emails showing it scheduled multiple times, but no one ever showed up. Travis kept acknowledging and promising a future date. Integrity--do what you say. …

Always great service and friendly people
