Making the call to Affordable Custom decking was the best decision I made to have a 30 year old deck replaced. I spoke to John whom put me in touch with Steve. Steve was easy to work with and provided great suggestions. on what I could do with making my deck smaller but functional and appealing to look at. The plan was wonderful. Charles and James showed up at the same time every day and had the old deck down in 2 days. BLUF - We LOVE our new deck, the process was great, and we recommend Affordable Custom Decks to everyone. Specifics: - They LISTENED to our description of what we wanted, and built a design based on that. Other companies were pushing what they wanted to build - Prompt and hard working! The work crews showed up on time, communicated what the next steps were, coordinated everything with Va Bch structural assessors, and cleaned everything up upon completion. - The workers had planned to finish putting the floorboards on the deck on a Friday. We had a new deck put on our house and to say it is the most beautiful and well built deck would be an understatement. The professionalism of both Dave (the designer) and Charles (the builder) was excellent. Charles did an excellent job and took extra care to make sure everything was done precisely right. In his own words he said "I build the decks that same way I would want one built on my own house." If you want a quality made deck at a fair price, you can't go wrong with Affordable Custom Decks. Our experience with Affordable Customer Decks was amazing. Steve is a true professional in creating the design and coordinating the installation. Charles and James did an outstanding job in extending our DIY deck by making it square and seamless as if it was that size all along. They continually kept the work area clean each day and provided daily updates on next steps. I highly recommend using them.

My husband and I highly recommend Affordable Custom Decks. We had our 21 year old wood deck replaced with composite and could not be happier with our gorgeous new deck!! Steve is very professional and was easy to work with. He kept us informed throughout the process. Kevin and Connor are also professional and are very hard workers. Affordable Custom Decks was probably the best company I have ever worked with, from the planning and design, to the demolition of the old deck, and finally to the amazing finished product.
