Our family reached out to Joe (Owner of Artistic Development Fiberglass Pools) in early March of 2024; him and his team finished prior to summer ending so we were able to enjoy our in- ground 40ft. fiberglass saltwater pool before it turned too cold. This has been a a great experience working with this company. Thank you Joe! Living in Lake Orion is a vacation (our motto!) thanks to you and your company installing a fiberglass pool for us! This will be our fourth summer and I can’t thank you enough for making our dreams come true. Thank you for always opening and closing the pool and being reliable. Your company is great to work with. You have an artistic ability to design a backyard that fit our pool. You helped with choosing brick for the retaining wall, cement size and color, fencing and overall layout which makes my backyard a summer entertaining spot! I am forever grateful!

I couldn't be happier with the work Joe and his team (the boys) did. The finished structure is fantastic, and I've received numerous compliments. I did receive lower quotes, but I ultimately chose Joe because I know his work ethic and commitment to doing things correctly. I trusted him to deliver a high-quality result, and he absolutely did. The only small point I'd mention is that the filter fabric cleanup could have been slightly better, with some black material still visible. Joe his sons and crew did a very nice job installing my pool and cement around the pool. At times he is a little hard to get a hold of but he makes up for it with his suggestions and knowledge of pools and landscaping.

Rave reviews for Artistic Development Fiberglass Pools! We installed a 10X24 pool with an automatic cover and from beginning to end Joe was a pleasure to deal with. He explained everything thoroughly, handled the permit and inspections and responded quickly to any calls or texts. He is involved hands-on with the installation, his crew was great, and our pool was completed in a timely manner. He also did a fabulous job on the two tone brick coping we selected. If you’re looking to install a fiberglass pool I would highly recommend Artistic.

Joe Shaw is a con-man. He will tell you what you want to hear and then fail to follow through. He began our pool build in October of 2023 and still has not completed the job. We thought adding a pool would be fantastic for our family, yet joe has provided over a year of stress and headache. It is lie after lie, excuse after excuse. If youve given him a deposit, seek a refund immediately. I have now been left with no choice but to file a lawsuit against artistic development, joe shaw, their electrical contractor, and to pursue the revocation of his builders license. DO NOT HIRE!!! As other reviews have already stated, Joe (owner/operator) will leave you with an unfinished project, inadequate pool equipment installed incorrectly, numerous issues and code violations, damaged property, and then will refuse to answer calls & texts. I would not recommend “Artistic Development” to anyone for anything.
