We started off talking about a kitchen remodel and ended with updating the whole first level. Jose was patient and accommodating. We added a little from the original job, like putting in the french doors. Jose is highly skilled and knowledgeable, helping us make decisions when we were having trouble. Attention to detail is a key component to what he does. Jose is a man of his word and easy to communicate with. If he says he will do it, it will get done. Our upstairs bathroom and downstairs laundry room recently needed to be remodeled due water damage. Jose & crew did an AMAZING job making the bathroom look fantastic & very fancy. The new tile in the bathroom is exceptionally well done and now I won't even have grout in the future! The shower and tile for the floor was also done and looks exceptional. Jose and his crew did a complete remodel of my unfinished basement, turning it into a beautiful extension of our living space. Understanding that I was on a tight budget, Jose helped me brainstorm ways to design the space to reduce costs while keeping quality finishes, like the beautifully tiled fireplace. He facilitated engagement of a structural engineer and architect, navigated King County' byzantine permit system, secured discounts on materials, and delivered a beautiful and functional space for me family. We worked with Cruz Construction and Jose for an extensive, year-long home remodel, and we are very happy with the result. After talking to over a dozen contractors, Jose immediately stood out as kind, honest, transparent, and easy to talk to. After several quotes from different contractors, we decided to go with Cruz Construction because Jose's quote was the most detailed, he was the best at communicating with us, and his prices were reasonable considering the overhaul we wanted to do. They stayed organized, communicated clearly, and made sure the smaller finishing details were completed properly instead of rushing at the end. Jose and the Cruz Construction team were amazing to work with! Jose was very amenable to our requests and he quickly responded to all of our questions. Cruz Construction was very fairly priced and spoke to us honestly and frankly. Everyone on the team was friendly and trustworthy. We will definitely be using Cruz Construction again for our home remodeling needs, and we highly recommend them to all!
