DO NOT hire this company! The owner Byron Utz came over to my house to give an estimate on replastering my 20,000 gallon in ground gunite pool & I nearly had to physically remove him from my property. He tried to lecture me on how I should be taking care of a 52 year old pool with all kinds of cracks & leaks all in it which is what I hired him for in the first place. All of this while I was taking care of my bedridden 96 year old grandmother at the same time just because he “supposedly” took care of his mother-in-law. He even called me lazy! They replaced coping & tiles at our pool that had fallen off & it looks perfect! You’d never know it was done, Flawless work! I have already recommended them! 👏🏼

We spent over 70k With Excel Pools & Landscaping, Worst experience ever. We thought we had the right guy for the job but couldn't have been more wrong. They build commercial pools as well as residential some as far away as Austin, TX. The owner of Excel Pools seems like a good guy and I'm sure he means well. Great pitch at point of sale, project manager to handle sub's and go over design details. This never happened and there was little communication if any. Lots of tile and coping work had to be redone, it wasn't even level. We had to pay $600.00 for a extra pump to make the pool fountains w…

While getting Bids for our new pool, we contacted 7 different pool companies. Everyone got back within a week or two. Excel Pools was the only company that followed up.They were not the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive, but like anything you get what you pay for. After comparing all the bids, I noticed something. Being that Excel Pools does a lot of commercial pools for hotels and resorts, the materials used were far more superior.
