I reached out to the owner of this company on a Tuesday afternoon. He sent a technician to my house right away (which I was thankful for). The technician tested my water, vacuumed my pool, and added 4 pounds of shock. He told me that the water would no longer be green and cloudy tomorrow, but sparkling blue. This is one of the worst companies I have had . he is not dependable with scheduling appointments he don’t show up or answer phone calls or text and he left my pool nasty still green and a lot of leaves still in it and charged me 130. I told him he needed to come back out because he wasn’t done he did not answer my calls for a week until I asked for a refund . FAMILY POOL SERVICE SERVICED OUR POOL. MY POOL WAS GREEN, AND I HAD A LEAKY PIPE. HE REPAIRED OUR PIPES, CLEARED THE WATER, AND CHARGED US $400.00. THE LAST STAGE OF CLEANING WAS DONE LATE EVENING TIL DARK. THE NEXT DAY, OUR POOL HAD YELLOW MUSTARD ALGAE THAT YOU GET WHEN DIRTY POOL TOOLS ARE USED OR THE POOL ISN'T SHOCKED PROPERLY. HE AGREED TO COME BACK, BUT HE LIED. HE DID NOT COME BACK TO FIX IT, AND WE SPENT AN ADDITIONAL $75.00 FOR SHOCK, BRUSHED THE POOL DOWN, AND CLEANED IT OURSELVES. My husband discovered Mr. Amani and his team earlier this summer; they are great at what they do. Last summer our pool was only clear for 1 month and we ended up canceling our pool techs. Family Pool Service, explained why it wouldn’t stay blue, fixed the issue, and has been servicing our pool ever since. He will be winterizing our pool this year and installing a safety cover. We will be using his services for years to come and recommend him to anyone needing a pool tech.

Despite seeing the negative reviews I tried him out. Came back to finish the job and quit and ghosted me. Had to get another company to finish the job. Nice guy and prices decent. Also showed up late.
