Jose and his small team did an amazing job removing an old, rotting deck and building its replacement. From our initial consultation--which was nearly immediate--to the final touches, Jose was a great communicator and answered any questions I had. He battled rain, wind, and snow to finish the job quickly. But his attention to detail was obvious as I watched the progress made; no details went unnoticed. Jose was incredible to work with, and including some before and after photos to show his team's awesome work! We have a unique and complicated tiered yard, and Jose was able to come in and execute our vision with outstanding results. He is extremely communicative, goes above and beyond, and cannot say enough about his team's hard work and dedication. A note that in the "finished" photos, the railings were all fabricated by Jose -- rather than buying lower quality products off of the shelf, he self-performed that work and it looks fantastic. Working with Jose for our deck (x2) renovation/rebuild was a great experience. His professionalism and communication were excellent and he even re-worked a railing section requiring a full additional day of work just because he did not think it was up to his high standards. Fresh View is a true local family business which keeps overhead low and allows for very competitive pricing compared to some of the larger and more corporate remodel companies. Jose was quick and available to our first meeting. We initially tried for a cover attached to the home, but was not able to get approved for a permit with the city due to location of my drain field. Jose provided drawings with his software and engineering plans so I would know what the finished project would look like. Unfortunately we could not proceed do to city restrictions beyond his control. We pivoted to a free standing cover with the max dimensions without a permit required. Fresh View Construction did a phenomenal job on our deck. They worked quickly and clean and asked for feedback along the way. In addition to replacing our deck, they took out a railing and built a long stair to open our yard. The workmanship on our deck is stunning, it’s our favorite space in our house. I would hire them again in a heartbeat for a future job.
