We are building a house and were looking for pool quotes. Several high quality builders recommended Howard Pools. I set up an appointment for design/quote a week in advance. My husband and I left work early to drive 30 minutes to Howard Pools only to be told the lady we were supposed to meet with was not there. She had left earlier in the day to go to New Iberia and was on her way back, did we want to wait around for her to return. Howard Pools built my pool years ago and did a good job. I was a loyal weekly maintenance and service customer for the past 6 years and recently cancelled because of how unresponsive and unprofessional they are. I recently asked them to take a look at my motor which was making noise. No one ever called back to let me know what the issue was or give me an estimate but I received an $1100.00 bill a few weeks later for charges I never approved. The gang from Howard pool returned to the scene of the crime. They installed my pool 22 years ago and I had them return to re-plaster and install new pumps and sand filters. They did it in a very timely manner considering the scope of work and the summer showers. We are very pleased with the service and are back swimming and enjoying our pool.
