J Designs is a family run pool design and maintenance company that goes the extra mile in communication and thoughtful solutions to complicated installations. As a landscaper I have worked with dozens of pool companies but when it came time to update and upgrade the pool systems in a home I recently purchased with an existing pool I called them. JC and Liliana explained the best systems for my older pool and have it working beautifully. I am thankful that they now have a maintenance company for weekly cleaning as well. Highly recommend them!

JC and his team made our small Venice yard into a paradise. Liliana made sure we were always aware of where we were in the process of the pool building and invoicing. No big surprises. JC keeps himself up to speed on all the newest technology (we have a UV filter) and was very game to keep things simple-but-elegant design-wise by making sure we had great materials without spending unnecessarily. This picture is very soon after we completed the pool, so I'm still working on finishing touches around the space, but if anyone wants any more pictures, I can always provide.

We hired JC to do a complete renovation of an existing pool. Renovating a pool is complicated. There is demo, plumbing, electrical, hardscape, tile work, landscaping, fountains, lighting, ironwork, in water furniture, equipment, etc. JC handled everything and his prices were competitive and reasonable. Most importantly, he stands behind his work. We had some tiles that loosened up and JC brought his entire team back to redo the tile at no charge. They did a great job, and they were thorough in their cleanup. We get a lot of compliments on the pool. I would definitely recommend you meet with JC…

J Designs is a world class pool installation company. I couldn't be happier about our new pool installation. The J Designs team keeps up with all of the latest technology and has a passion for educating their customers about it. I loved the education I received and am very happy about the choices we made (we went with an Ozone and UV system). Our pool installation went in on budget and on time. And it really was a pleasure working with everyone we met from J Designs. Highly recommended.

JC and his team did an amazing job with our pool resurfacing. They were very clean, efficient and quiet. JC keeps you very informed during the process. I highly recommend using him.

J Designs Pool & Spa were great to work with. the communication was excellent and they were able to identify a leak in the water feature in my pool that several others missed. They coordinated repairs across multiple trades and were able to complete the repair on short notice. We were very happy with the work and tech experience and look forward to working with them again!

In 2015, we choose JC to resurface our pool. In 2024, after experiencing the heavy rains in the Los Angeles area, we again called JC. He was the same person. He was friendly, reliable, thorough, and very professional. I would recommend this company.

JC and his team are incredibly detail-oriented. He does beautiful work and my pool continues to blow people away. Even more importantly, he is a good person, who is trustworthy and honest - and we all know that is very hard to find!

JC remodeled our swimming pool and water feature wall. He did an amazing job , everything turned out perfectly and on time.
