We just completed construction on a new pool and cage through Pools By Design and all I can say is that we are absolutely thrilled with the result. The first day I walked into their office and met with their pool designer Nate, I had a good feeling about the company. Nate spent a ton of time helping me to flesh out the design of the pool. After our initial meeting, we continued to go back and forth for several weeks as we fine-tuned what we wanted and made a few changes to get the pool within our desired budget. Excellent to work with. Great team. Nate on design, Kristi at customer service, Jake ran our build and Jerry runs the show. Responsive. Did exactly what they promised with honest pricing. No nonsense. And as a bonus, they dealt with changes and special request without any hassle whatsoever. The pool turned out great. No issues as of yet, but I definitely feel they will answer the phone and take care of things if we run into any problems in the future. After interviewing five different reputable pool companies we chose Pools By Design to build our pool/spa and travertine decking. By far Pools By Design stood out above the rest. The owner, Jerry Hepler, has over thirty years of pool building experience. Nate created a pool/spa design which enhanced our limited space footprint. I selected Pools by Design to build by pool, spa and travertine deck. I looked at multiple builders, but I selected Pools by Design. They are a solid local pool business who has built many pools in Sarasota. They turned my empty back yard in my newly built home into paradise! They were great to work with, and they completed my project ahead of schedule (their workers showed up!) They also do servicing on my pool. Great experience, great results. So glad I chose Pools by Design!

Building a Pool is a stressful undertaking - everyone you meet in Florida is a so-called "Pool Contractor." Jerry and his team at Pools by Design take much of the stress out of the equation. Jerry and his son Jake are Engineers, they know what they are doing. Every phase was consistent from contract signing to the final Installation, we were filling our pool in approximately 90 days. All the Subs that worked on our installation have been with Jerry for 10 plus years and were excellent. This organization is very knowledgeable and professional. They know what they're doing and they get things done. Out of all the companies we interviewed, they were the most solid in response and planning. Their follow-up was on target and staff very friendly. Highly recommended!
