Had good experience when purchasing the pool and the installation, but then when you spend a 100K you would expect that. Now the bad part, after installation customer service is nonexistence. After 11 months the pool started losing water, between 1-2 inches every 2-3 days. Called twice in a two week period, to Frank and Yvonne both, no reply. Bottom line, be careful with this company, professional up front, but ZERO on customer service, and that is more important than selling a product. Now going to elevate this to both Latham and Pentair.

While our new home was under construction, we hired Pools by Design to build our pool. We reviewed the company's website, followed them on Facebook and Instagram, and reviewed the various reviews, both positive and negative. But what sold us on Pools By Design was meeting with Frank and the front office staff. The personal level of attention and their commitment to building quality pools is exceptional. This company started construction on my pool in early 2021. The pool was not completed until almost a year later. As others have mentioned, communication with them is non-existent until they want to be paid. After my pool was completed, less than a year later I noticed that my pool tile, that they sold me and installed, was fading, cracking and falling off. They said it was a tile issue and not an installation issue so they should not be held responsible. After a couple of emails and messages, all communication stopped. We have officially taken possession of our beautiful new fiberglass pool. We chose the Latham Olympia 16x35 as it is a great mix use pool with a lap lane, ledge, lots of steps for lounging. Frank and his staff were professional, helpful and everything was delivered as promised! We are so excited to use it hopefully by the end of April! Highly recommend Pools By Design!

Pools by Design built our 60’ x 12’ pool with a sauna in one corner in 2019. They did a beautiful job, and we have recommended them to friends in the area looking for a new pool. Now about 5 years old this pool is still beautiful and operates as designed. We had a different pool by a different company at a different home several years ago and it was nothing but trouble as it aged. We really enjoyed our visit. Met with a wonderful woman whose name slips my mind at the moment. Gave us tons of information. They were very patient and seemed extremely professional.

Just here to reinforce everything everyone else is saying. Really bad company with really bad ethics and really bad performance. They'll lie and cheat and take every quality lowering shortcut possible while somehow still going months beyond schedule. It's literally better to just go without a pool and swim someplace public.
