We recently had our pool renovated by Premier Pools & Spas, and we are beyond thrilled with the results. Communication throughout the entire process was excellent—my husband and I always knew what to expect and what was happening next. The team was consistently polite, professional, and their workmanship truly exceeded our expectations. We have always loved our pool, but now we love it even more after the renovation. 7/15 Update: Really hope I can revise this at some point, but the pool has been installed for a month. We are on our third straight weeklong delay for weather. (The weather is exactly what you think it would be July in New Jersey.) We have not seen a Premier Pools employee in a month, except to pick up a check. We purchased a 40'x16' fiberglass pool with a saltwater system from Premier and are very happy with the results! The team finished on time and within the agreed budget. Their team handles all of the paperwork and logistics from beginning to end, so it makes for a very easy process despite the scope and scale of what goes into installing an inground pool. We would highly recommend using Premier, and there are a few things we'd also suggest: 1. Ask lots of questions and read everything carefully. I’m editing this review. After less than five years i’ve realized how bad the quality of workmanship and equipment used are. I have had to replace the outdoor refrigerator, the grill, a light in the pool, and the Pool heater. The Hardscape is literally falling apart. They put rocks down and I had two separate landscapers tell me it wasn’t done correctly. They didn’t dig down deep enough in a few places. One side is completely collapsing, where it should’ve really been a retaining wall. I specifically asked about that and they told me it wouldn’t be a problem. I also didn’t want pavers, but…

Allison is not only horrible to work with but also outsources to subcontractors that are unskilled. They failed inspection for not pouring a proper lock collar. If you choose to work with PPS, I would ask upfront for a W9 or invoices as well as their workmen's Comp with you as additional insured. They refuse to provide us either, despite the fact that failure to do so is actually illegal in NJ. Additionally, they installed a "safety" fence on only three sides our pool with 2-3 feet gaps and when we asked them to install a safety fence pre code, they refused.
