Sunset Designers & Builders completely transformed our backyard and we couldn’t be happier with the entire process. We are giving John Zahn (JZ) and the Sunset Designers & Builders team a rating of 5 only because 6 is not available. We have had many contractors and tradespeople work on our properties over the years, and Sunset was by far the easiest to work with while providing a superior result. We had an excellent experience with John & his team during our backyard remodel and pool fill-in project. He provided a detailed estimate, thoughtful design layout, clear budget from the start, and his attention to detail throughout the process was outstanding. He visited the job site daily, kept us informed with regular video updates, and maintained top-notch communication every step of the way. I’m writing this review for those of you looking to update your pool. We had a pool installed about 20 years ago What started out is just a replacement of expansion joint, then became a little larger of a project. We realized we should replace the cultured stone that have been eaten away by the saltwater pool. We also wanted to save our pebble tech since it was in good shape. We received two quotes both didn’t feel they could save the pebble tech or wanted to maybe be a little more aggressive and try to get us to replace pebble tech as well.
