I have been using Newtown Pools for the past 4 summers. Tim and the crew there are great. I use them for the opening and closing and visit the shop for water testing 1-2 times a month. I changed over from Nejame and Sons when I realized the bag of salt Nejame was charging $55 while Newtown Pools charges $20 for the same thing. The guys at Newtown pools are trustworthy and great local guys in town. They also provide weekly cleaning services if needed.

Pool opening service was great, they were on time and did a great job. Had an issue with the filter pump and Pat worked on it to resolve the issue and reinstalled the pump. Pool is up and running and looks great.

Had our liner replaced recently. Work seems solid. Work started just over a week after the ETA start date, however I am guessing due to COVID19 and delays that the liner took longer to receive. Owner Pat came over after business hours to get the pump in the pool to remove the water making sure there were no more delays, which was very nice. Work started two days later and they got the job done in two days! Very nice!

The owner of this company is beyond arrogant. Customer service is terrible. They send young guys out to do work who barely have any experience beyond pool cleaning. I will absolutely never use this company again. Just bad I guess I’m done the only one on blanket meadow rd that have problems with this company review down below 6 Months ago.. I’ve been using their maintenance service for a while now, and it’s made pool ownership a lot easier. The water stays balanced, and I don’t have to worry about keeping up with everything myself.

We had an older pool that needed some updates, and they walked us through renovation options without overcomplicating things. The finished result looks much more modern and easier to maintain.
