I engaged with Playa Pools back in 2019 to renovate my pool. I got a great vibe from Susana and was very pleased with her responsiveness. Covid hit in 2020 so we put the project off to this year, 2025. I was so impressed that Susana remembered me even after 6 years! I got quotes from Playa Pools and two other companies. Playa was significantly cheaper, but also is a family run business. I felt very confident that they took their work very seriously. I just felt really good about choosing them. Playa Pools definitely exceeded my expectations. The scope of work involved remodeling an almost 20 year old inground pool with a variety of additional work adding to my overall backyard: replace the coping, replace the tile, replaster the pool, cover the pergola, replace a poorly placed fireplace chimney with a gas fire pit, sand and redo the patio and lastly upgrade the pool equipment. Christian did an amazing job at solving a drain issue for our pool. He was professional and timely. His work was well done. He invented creative solutions when some small difficulties came up. Outstanding work done on our complete pool and waterfall renovation December 2025. They’re a family owned business who came in much cheaper than the other contractors and got the job done just as professionally. I was very impressed with their responsiveness whenever I needed to communicate. It was great working with Orlando, Christian, and Susanna. These are good, honest people. We highly recommend Playa Pools!
