Contracted Josh to replace bumpers on a pool table I bought elsewhere; replace the felt & deliver back. His communication, responsiveness and overall attitude was good until he was paid in full. I don’t usually pay for work until it’s completed for this very reason. When it came time to deliver it back: Text messages were left on read for days at a time. Apt got rescheduled twice. I reached out to Pool Boss To have a winter pool cover replaced. I spoke to the owner of the company, he instructed me to buy a pool cover from a local pool store, and he would get back to me on the time he would be at my home the next Monday or Tuesday. I bought the cover, I did not hear back, I reached out to him, he said he was checking the weather and would let me know. I indicated that Tuesday would be the better weather day. Bad communication Never showed up for scheduled appointment that was confirmed. This does not matter if it was a free or paid for quote. I sat at a property waiting and rescheduled my business and day for this. He didn’t reach out until 8pm once I contacted him. His response of me not needing to be there to go over my project after him not showing up doesnt make sense. He didn’t ask any specifics or needs. So therefore I’d need to be there. I wish I could give this company a zero out of five. This company doesn’t even deserve a 1/5. Josh, the owner has The worst customer service and communication skills. He does not answer text messages back or even phone calls. He no-showed a schedule appt . First time he never showed up and we had to contact him multiple times. My neighbor recommended Pool Boss when our pump died last summer. The person we were working with was not responsive, but Josh got back to me right away and give me great advice on the best pump to get. At the end of the season he winterized my pool, and did a fantastic job. His crew took the time to make sure the anchors were in good shape and the cover was tight. I did not get any leaves on the pool cover over the winter like I had in the past. I highly recommend Pool Boss.

Josh The Pool Boss, did an excellent job replacing my pool liner. His work is meticulous and he really sweats the details. His team also replaced the sand in my filter. This is a dirty job that most pool companies will not perform. Once again His attention to detail made for a perfectly finished job. Throughout the process he always responded to my text messages with the relevant information. His pricing is very competitive and fair.

I was very disappointed with the pool closing service we received. Our pool was dirty when they came, and we were told that the chemicals would be added and whatever cleaning could be done would be completed before closing. Unfortunately, that did not happen. The pool closing, which cost over $330, essentially consisted of putting the tarp over the pool with a wench, disconnecting and securing the pump. I also paid extra for the winterizing plug, skimmer, and other closing items. Despite those additional charges, the pool remained green, and I do not feel the service was worth the money. When …
