Update: Our lining is becoming unseated in spots. This is less than a year after installation!... They are not even recognized by the BBB! I am reducing my previous rating of 2, to 1 star! We got this company's information as a reference. After contacting them and discussing details for a pool liner replacement, we paid half of the total amount with a promise that the liner will be delivered and installed in 4 weeks. Our pool got drained in about a week, but then there was no communication for about 3 weeks. Meanwhile our pool accumulated rain water and became a breeding ground for frogs. Aft…

I was charged $140 for "Service Call / Hot Tub leak". At that time I was told that an additional part was needed at an estimated $59 and that another $40 dollars in labor would also be charged to me upon completion. They asked me to pay the $140 before the work was completed and I did. They never came back. When I phoned I was told they never ordered the part and didn't schedule a return visit. The company didn't know why. I asked for a return of the $140 but they never sent the money. Don't use this company and risk being ripped off.

We contracted with "The Pool Man" to pressure wash and paint our swimming pool in June of 2014. We were told that this paint was designed to last 10 or more years. We paid them $4591.40. When we opened the pool June of 2015, we had paint peeling in many areas. Now, in 2016, we just opened our pool to find large areas where the paint has peeled off. We will have to repaint again this year, which means our large "10 Year Investment" needs to be redone just 2 years later.. The quality of the final product, now 2 years later, is absolutely horrible. Don't waste your money.

These guys are absolutely awesome. They came to our home to check the pool for us being that we were 1st time pool owners. The gentleman that came out was thorough and very descriptive. This is not one of those places that tries to take advantage of you. Straight forward, very helpful and not to mention knowledgeable. We learned a lot. We definitely would recommend Pool Man for all of your pool needs. Thanks guys.

We've had these guys do many things for us over the 16 years we've had our pool so far. They are always thorough and they back up their work. Fair prices too.

back in 2019 The Pool Man here in blue springs installed a tara liner. I hired a leak detection company to come inspect the pool this summer as requested by tara. That costed another thousand dollars. The leak detection discovered 4 leaks. Tara is refusing to warranty the liner. This is a complete fraud. My last 2 water bills have been 700 and 550 on top of the 1000 for the leak detection company . Tara Pool or The pool man refuse to fix the issue.
