Ran and his team completely renovated our pool and the surrounding deck. They switched us over from chlorine to a salt system. The team replaced all the plumbing and most of the pool equipment. They did beautiful work, and the system is quiet and runs well. We are running a heater for the first time in about 30 years and haven't seen a significant spike in energy cost. After interviewing multitude contractors, receiving an array of estimates for a pool replaster, new coping, backyard decking, drainage, and sprinkler to drip conversion became undaunting. Virtually ready to give up, I meet Ran Neuman who also lives in the Valley. Instead of just giving an estimate, he brings coffee, tasty pastries and explains every step to complete this project. We are very satisfied with the service we received from Spear Pools and our pool re-surface job. Ran is a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable in all aspects of the job. He was there every step of the way to answer any questions or concerns that came up and pays attention to every detail. Everything from the demolition to the start up went smooth. Good old fashioned Quality Customer Service. It's never a good thing when something at home breaks, and you have to call someone to come fix it. These guys take the pain out. I dealt with Mike (the owner) and Richard (who actually did the work), and was more than pleased with their service. From my description of the problem over the phone, I was given a rough estimate. Richard was able to properly diagnose the problem within minutes, had the part in his truck, and completed the repair faster than I expected. I have been using Spear for over 20 years and they never fail to resolve my problems. Damien is a great technician and a wonderful diagnostician. I would not hesitate to use them in the future. Also, Cynthia in the office does a great job coordinating all the appointments and orders.

Extremely rude. They were assigned to me by Pentair to replace a pool light in warranty. They treated me like dirt. Ron was their spokesman and gave me a take it or leave attitude for scheduling. I tried hard to accommodate their schedule but Ron had this attitude of superiorty and I felt he did not care about helping get this done. Pentair should lose this company as one of their authorized warranty servicers.
