Disappointed After the Merger – Poor Follow-Through and Communication I had been with 5 Star Pools for over four years and was always satisfied until they merged with Sun-Kist Pool Service. Review for Sunkist Pool Service: if I could give no star I would. Sunkist Pool Service has been one of the most disappointing and frustrating companies I’ve ever dealt with. Not only did they provide sloppy, inconsistent service, but they actually damaged my pool in the process — something completely unacceptable from a so-called professional pool company. Terrible customer service. Madelyn is the manager & never ever follows up with any issues & this has happened Multiple times. She's useless. 5 star was better before the merge. Do not recommend.

Very bad customer service. Owner doesn't care. I would go elsewhere. They seem to be too busy chasing profits from pool repair & builds.

I wouldn't recommend this company. We tried them out, seemed ok at first. Had to keep close tabs on company to make sure they were fully cleaning our pool and not cutting corners as they tried to do multiple times. The final nail in the coffin though was when I found out they weren't adding salt to our saltwater pool because they never had it in their system as being a saltwater pool even though it was something I had discussed with them often. They just kept adding chlorine tablets instead. This company will cut corners, and not property care for your pool.
