Tropical Pools had put in a chlorinator on my saltwater pool less than a year ago. It quit working I called the company . They sent Tropical Pools a work order to replace it. I have called Tropical Pool service several times over the last three months to replace it. They claim they had not received the work order. It had been sent to them a few times . I was cc on each email sent . I would not use them. They do not standby the work they do.

Danny and his team at Tropical Pool Services have come to our house twice for completely different repairs. Both times they were quick to schedule an appointment, arrived on time and with everything they needed to get us back up and running! Danny is VERY knowledgeable, has excellent communication skills, and is very responsive. Danny gets as much information before they arrive, so they are prepared to get the issue resolved on the 1st and only visit! Extremely honest, hard working, neat, and efficient! I’ve been using Tropical Pools for my inground pool in Uptown New Orleans for the past 7 years. Danny is responsive, easy to work with and has always given me fair and competitive prices. He’s also given the benefit of his vast pool knowledge and experience whenever I have a question about anything (the idea to switch from sand to glass medium in the filter has been amazing!). Hands down the best pool company in the New Orleans area! We have dealt with some bad contractors since we moved here and I have to say Tropical has been the opposite. Not only is their work superb but they stand by everything they do which is rare.  The owner has personally come out to work on our smaller issues for some last-minute emergencies on a few occasions. We were so impressed for one by the professionalism and two by the customer service we have had them come back for all size jobs. I am a new pool owner with very limited pool education having never owned a pool before. I had some concerns back in November when we filled, and Danny came out to the house. He is very knowledgable, professional, honest, and generous with his time - especially dealing with a rookie. I reached out to him today, and he took the time to answer some questions I had without feeling the need to come visit. You don't find service like that these days. We attempted to get a quote for pool service and renovation. For the pool service he never winded up responding so I went with a different company. Months later, we reached out separately for a pool renovation and he came by to inspect. We asked for a quote he said that weekend. We sent a few follow up texts and never received the quote. We kept checking in over the next few weeks and nothing. Very unprofessional especially when we were ready to do the work as soon as possible.
