I’ve had two vinyl liners replaced in my very old 18x36 in ground pool by Advantage pools. Both jobs required some real pool installation expertise and they did an outstanding job.

Once again, Advantage Pools provided excellent service! So good, in fact, I felt compelled to post here. They are easy to communicate with, very professional and reliable, and surprisingly affordable. I’ve owned a pool for 11 years and this company is, by far, the best one I’ve worked with.

I’ve been avoiding writing this review because I didn’t want the secret to get out, but Advantage Pools is by far the best pool company I’ve had experience with in Memphis. First, I recently bought a pool safety cover from Advantage Pool. This was for a pool I’ve owned for many years that was originally constructed by a pool company that is no longer in business. I started using Advantage Pools this summer and the difference has been amazing. My water has never looked so crystal clear as now. I am happy with their service and highly recommend them. They are very knowledgeable about pools, the equipment, etc. and very professional.

I’ve used advantage pools for service numerous times in the past, including just a few weeks back. Unfortunately they have informed they now only assist weekly customers. Happy they are this successful. However, I was informed they were making this change because a couple of weeks back when I requested service and they couldn’t respond quickly, I had to go to another provider as there was considerable urgency on my part. I see no sense in their retaliatory response.

We had arranged that Advantage pool perform cleaning services, twice, so far this summer when we went out of town. The first time they executed the request as scheduled for May 28th. Thje sefcond time that they were to come was on June 18th. They did not keep that appointment. I called them earlier that week and the person who answered said that they would be unable to fill this request, claiming that they were "short-handed." That was not my concern as I had made the appointment over a month before this.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with Advantage Pools. I had shocked my pool before I went out of town so I needed them to come out to vacuum and backwash since I wouldn’t be home in the time period it needed to be done. The guy from Advantage Pools came out and said he couldn’t figure out how to backwash the type of filter I have. I have a DE filter, which isn’t the most common but not super rare. I’ve explained to my wife how to backwash it over the phone and she had never touched pool equipment before. You’d think a pool maintenance company should be able to figure it out. Despite the…
