Our HOA just contracted with this company for our new pool. I'm not impressed. The good news is the lifeguards that they have at our pool are professional and friendly, but their lack of staffing (someone called out) has our pool closed completely on a Saturday and Sunday (has happened a couple of times)! They should have a manager cover or something. They blame a labor shortage, but I suspect if they were paying their lifeguards enough (or paying OT) then we'd have coverage. Also, our pool bottom is consistently dirty- it doesn't appear they vacuum properly or frequently enough, or something.

We are located at Adventure Bound Washington DC campground! This company was put in charge of their swimming pool for the season. The pool was always dirty and it was closed more than it was open due to their lack of preparation. Horrible company! We’d call and nobody would answer. Leave messages and nobody called back. They didn’t seem to care at all that over 100 families were disappointed over never knowing when the pool would open or not. This company unfortunately services my building. To say they meet minimum contractual obligation is an understatement. I’ve lived at my building for over a month and the pool remains closed due to the company servicing them with a lifeguard. Not to mention the unprofessional customer service to include the regional manager responsible- who are unable to explain to me why this is happening. I’m beyond dissatisfied and it’s clear we are not the only people having issues with this lacking organization. DO BETTER!!

This is the first year our HOA has used American Pools and the experience is night and day from our previous pool company. Steven and Tori, our senior staff, are amazing and have been a breath of fresh air to our facility. Their suggestions and dedication have made the first few weeks of our season the best in the twenty one years we’ve lived in our community. I hope all of the staff of American Pools are as dedicated as the ones we have at North Crossing, they have changed our pool experience in so many ways! I can’t say enough about how pleased I am!

This company is supposed to run the pool at the property i live at. They should have been open and avaliable over Memorial Day weekend and the pool never opened. Then we supposedly got a lifeguard this past Friday and were supposed to be open through the weekend with the hours potentially modified but there is NO ONE to call to see if or when they are going to open. Supposed to open at 11am...Go over at 1pm and there is no one there, no note to provide any modification to the weekend schedule on an 80+ weekend. Honestly just so frustrating! We have been very disappointed with the management of our pool through this company. While we understand that lifeguards must prioritize safety and follow weather protocols, the way those policies are carried out has been frustrating. On our most recent visit, everyone was asked to leave the pool because of a brief rain shower. The rain stopped after about 15 minutes, and we stayed for another 30 minutes waiting for the lifeguards to return to their chairs and reopen the pool. They never did.
