In December 2024, my husband surprised me by saying we were moving ahead with our kitchen renovation and that JS Brown & Co., Inc. would be doing the work. Right from the get-go, we liked the personalities of the sales manager and designer. Our project consisted of a complete kitchen and bathroom gut renovation and a mudroom addition in Old Arlington. From the beginning of our project, Tony and Tony did a great job of outlining the entire remodel process from design to completion and setting expectations for timing, communication, etc. The design process was very collaborative and really highlighted JS Brown’s experience in the remodeling industry. We can summarize our experience with J.S. Brown with one word: Phenomenal! Our project included removal of a load bearing wall to open up the kitchen / sunroom / family room, as well as the addition of a large, covered patio. Included with that were a new kitchen, new flooring throughout the entire house, and a new portico over a side door. We had a team of eight J.S. J.S. Brown remodeled the entire first floor of our home with the primary focus being on the kitchen. They were professional, communitive, and collaborative in all aspects of the project. Expectations were discussed from the beginning of the design phase and adhered to throughout the project. The design team is wonderful and helpful in guiding us through the decisions. The construction team was very professional, clean and courteous while they were in our house. I would highly recommend them and plan on using this company again for future projects!

J.S. Brown did a master bath shower remodel and installed engineered hardwood in living room in 2019. From start to finish, everyone was professional and responsive to any questions or concerns I had. Work was done on time, as promised, and results were beautiful — which ultimately added to the sale of my condo. I have already consulted with J.S. Brown on a potential new project and will follow-up with them when timing is right.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with JS Brown from start to finish. From Tony at the initial walk through and estimate to Samantha for all the design work to Dave and the crew on the job site. We were part of the process every step of the way, and the team was 100% focused on making sure that we were happy with the finished product. We have recommended them to many of our friends, and we will definitely use them for any future renovation projects!

We have contracted with JS Brown on two separate occasions and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our home is 120 years old but you would never know it. Whether it was leveling floors, moving or eliminating walls, adding square footage, and improving functionality, this company has proven they were ready and able to bring our vision to life.
