Well, you are probably reading this just like I did prior to starting our search for a pool. I poured through so many reviews I could not remember who said what about who. So, I created a spreadsheet and started calling around and setting up appointments. Then I got a recommendation, friend of a friend used so and so kind of recommendation. We had them install a salt water pool last summer. Nick was great to work with. He answered any questions we had, was patient with us in making decisions and had good advice. The install process was great, everybody we encountered with the company was friendly and knowledgeable at their job. The whole process could have been a lot more stressful if not for them. We used them to close the pool and if we’ve had questions after install they have been quick to answer. Can’t wait to enjoy it this summer. Would highly recommend.

Kalifornia Pool's owner, Nick and his team took outstanding care of us! When covid hit every pool company in MN decided that they wanted to increase the price by 100%. Kalifornia Pools increased the price accordingly. I inherited a home that requires upkeep and a pool that needed more than upkeep. This company brought us back to life!!! I will forever be grateful.

Kalifornia Pool has very bad after sales service. First, soon after the install in 2023, I noticed one of the 2 hardware caps was missing. I informed Nick in September 2023 and after multiple reminders I got an acknowledgment that the missing cap will be mailed to me, though I am yet to receive it at the time of posting this review in September 2024. Also, the Hayward TigerShark pool vacuum stopped working in August 2024 and after contacting Kalifornia Pool they promptly offered to repaid it under warranty. However after receiving the "repaired" pool vacuum today, I tried it and didn't work. C…

FINAL UPDATE 11/01/22 - Continued working with NIck from K-Pool. Nick provided additional information and context around the issue. Was impressed with Nick's willingness to address the issues and make accommodations where necessary. I am retracting my negative comment regarding "do not use" as I feel more confident now in the provisions of service from this company. Updating the Star Rating based on the above. We have worked with almost every vinly pool company in the Minneapolis/St.Paul area and we just absolutely love working with Nick from Kalifornia Pool. He always gives us top notch service and I love his friendly demeanor. Our projects tend to be incredibly detailed and inticate and Kalifornia's crews take their time to do things right! Quality is their niche. Nick and his crews are very skilled and knowledgeable and really can build anything we design. They are my go to company for sure. Great group, can’t wait for the next pool build coming up with them!

Kalifornia Pools has helped us with our pool since we inherited it in 2021. They have replaced our liner, built out stairs, replaced failed equipment, drilled for new covers, opened/closed, and random services in between. They have always been responsive, extremely helpful, and professional. I recommend them every chance I get.
