Do Not Use This Contractor. I hired Jason to build a large pool in Indio Hills. His was more expensive than other bids but seemed to have the experience and integrity to justify it. It was to be a 4 month job for roughly $132,000. My primary concern was a pre-existing, un permitted shack that would house the pool equipment (heating system, etc) as well as un permitted electrical panel that had been brought out to the shack. RUN AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!! Jason comes off as a decent guy but he's not. He will take your money and run. Signed a contract, gave a deposit which was $1000)(fair), got our pool on the schedule. Before the job starts Jason asked for a 1/3 of the contract, we agreed and gave him $96,000. He received the check and immediately cashed it that same day. We didn't hear from him or his office for over 3 weeks. He had been scheduled to start. Didn't return calls or texts. He left on vacation for 3 weeks. We were upset but wanted the pool. Jason, and the guys at Premier Pools & Spas, are top notch. My pool is gorgeous and gets constant compliments and rave reviews from the Airbnb guests I host. My experience with this contractor in Palm Desert was nothing short of a nightmare. From the very beginning, their communication was completely inadequate, and I felt more like I was managing the project than they were. There were deviations from the agreed-upon design and the use of materials that didn’t seem suitable for the job. When I raised concerns, I was met with excuses, deflections, and a complete lack of accountability. I loved working with Jason and his team. They were super responsive and really accommodating given the time we had between Airbnb guests. The house where the pool is put in is our vacation home. We had a little last minute snafu with the permitting guy but they helped me to resolve it quickly. Jason is such a nice person and I would highly recommend him to anyone on this kind of project. He is helpful with pricing and it’s super reasonable!

I am disappointed with my experience regarding the pool construction project. What was initially scheduled for four months ended up dragging on for a whole year, and I'm still left with unfinished work. The major issues include the fact that my BBQ and fans have not been installed, despite numerous attempts to contact Jason and the company directly, they never seem to be available, which adds to the frustration.
