I’ve been a client of The Swimming Pool Store for 6 summers so far. They are very helpful people and the owner, James, is a kind hearted man. When pool season hits - it’s good to go in at the beginning of the season to do a few routine water tests- helps them get to know you and helps you get to know them. If I ever had a problem, they were quick and gracious to help. As a local New England business, The Swimming Pool Store will treat you like family so it’s nice to do that in return.

I purchased my home in 2019 and had never owned an inground pool and was intimidated by the whole idea of maintenance/upkeep. Thankfully I found the swimming pool store, James and his crew have always been generous with their time and have always gone above and beyond to help me understand how to keep my pool running properly. Last year we had the ONE thing happen that would terrify any pool owner. A catastrophic leak! Long story short, we gave them 3k for liner deposit and had to chase them for weeks on updates for installation dates. They will say "we had shipping delays, we were busy, yada yada yada". Overall we were customers for 10 years. They no longer have our business. Update 11/17 - 2 no show no calls - Chased updates from business - Preferred email communication to hold business accountable - Great finished product • On May 29, we visited your store and selected the liner • On May 30, we signed and returned the contract. • The original installation date was set for June 3, which was missed. • We …

We felt it necessary to leave a positive review for the Swimming Pool Store given their thoughtful, respectful, and balanced response to a recent 1 star review left by a disgruntled customer. Many others appear to have received similar reviews by this customer, which leave out critical details and paint these small businesses in a negative light, despite efforts to serve their customers effectively. If I could give zero stars I would. We’ve had bad experiences with them in the past, but Leslie’s (who I highly recommend) couldn’t come before my daughter’s birthday party. We hoped to have a better experience, but we didn’t, same company new owner still a complete scam and rip off! They came for 18 minutes according to my ring camera. They didn’t tell us they were here even though I explained to them on the phone that I wanted to talk to them when they were here. They replaced one part and messed up the heat bypass system we put in. They didn’t fully fix the heater, if they stayed long enoug…
