Better Builders is above and beyond any other deck builder in the Des Moines area. The process from beginning to end was thorough and they were patient while we did research and asked questions. They do exactly what they say they will do, show up on time or early every day of the build, and follow-up to ensure everything is perfect. I couldn't have asked for a more professional experience.

Great job! Just finished a 12x12 deck with Dekorators Vista product. Couldn't ask for a better company or product for our project. Austin, Christian and Winthrop were the best to work with, always available, helpful and dedicated. If you want it done right the first time by professionals, these are the guys. The entire experience was a breeze. Excellent communication at every step, clear, responsive and easy to work with. We knew exactly what was going on at all times. Construction crew were great - very professional, left the site clean, always on time. We are thrilled with the finished product. Exactly what we wanted and already getting lots of use after they finished just a few days ago. Gorgeous finished product.

A friend told me about the EZ-Breeze windows she had installed in her screen porch out of state. The windows aren't real glass but she raved about the product. I googled, looking for local installers. I first found an independent installer who quoted the job and answered my questions but he didn't have an example of the product for me to see. After 25 years, the upkeep on our wood deck was beginning to become overwhelming. We came up with a design for a new deck that would be approximately 20x32 with half being a screened in porch and the other half being open to the elements and able to support a new hot tub. If I could sum up our review of Better Builders in four words, it would be outstanding quality, communication and customer-service! Carter was very knowledgeable and great to work with. He took the time to answer all of our questions and gave us a timeline of the project so we knew what to expect and when. Not to mention, the whole construction crew was incredible, very detailed and cleaned the job site at the end of every day! We couldn’t be happier with our new covered deck and under decking! It’s simply beautiful!

Had to replace the stringers on our deck along with the decking material. Demir, Christian and the rest of the team were fantastic to work with. Totally focused on customer satisfaction. I’d certainly use them again and would recommend them to anyone who asks. They even left a Starbucks gift card in our neighbor’s mailbox for any inconvenience they may have caused because of the noise as they worked on our project. NICE TOUCH!

Better Builders created a beautiful deck for us. Everything was great from the first phone conversation with Keaton, to our visit to the extremely helpful showroom, to the final walk through of the finished deck. The BB team is organized, prompt, reliable, professional, and they practice great communication. And the finished product is worth the cost. I highly recommend them.
