In a world of Net Promoter Scores from 1-10, I would give Davies a 1 (a detractor score). I've held this review for 5 years for worries about how Davies might respond. We moved out of our home for 11 months for a remodel project we were told by Davies would take 4-6 months. And while the craftsmanship is good (see the photos below) there are many serious concerns I would flag here in opposition to many of the reviews posted here by employees and friends of the company. Confidence and trust. We engaged Davies to build our home, and then left to go over 5,000 miles away on a senior mission for 18 months while our home was being built. They did a fabulous job. We couldn't be happier.

I have worked with Davies Design Build on several large and small renovation projects. It is my experience that their communication, workmanship, and integrity is of the highest quality. Prompt communication is key for me, as a design professional. I prefer not to wait for days, or even weeks in some cases, for answers from builders about clients requests to me about certain aspects of a design I'm completing for them. I have know the Davies family for years and they are amazing people. We had them on our re-model team and they didn't disappoint. From start to finish they were easy to work with and listened to your wants, wishes, and concerns. I thoroughly enjoy visiting their homes each year in the Parade of Homes to see how they allow the homeowners personalities to shine in all areas of the home. When it comes time to build my "dream home" I will put Davies Design on the top of my list.

We loved working with Davies Design Build! They were so great! We had a 60 day window to complete our office build out and they did it on time, in budget, and did beautiful work. We still get comments daily on the quality and style they created for us over years ago. Ed was great to plan it and Terry was amazing at overseeing our project!

Do not build with these builders . They did a parade of homes for us and they were the worst. Never fixed things after the parade. So bad several employees all left because they are awful. So we were left with a ton of problems and no one to fix them. They should be ashamed. Stay as far away from them as possible.
