Downs is one of the finest companies I have dealt with. Owning 2 pools in Miami and 1 pool in Naperville ill, their service and knowledge is unmatched. Regardless of the problem, they find a solution and fix it. Plus their customer service is remarkable. They actually answer their phones or get back to you shortly after. Can’t say enough. Great company to have clean and maintain my pool.

We’ve been using Downes Swimming Pool Company for many years to service our indoor pool, and they have consistently provided excellent service. They are prompt, reliable, stay on schedule, and their technicians are always respectful and courteous. Today we had an exceptional experience with one of their technicians who went above and beyond. He took the time to make sure we were using the correct chemicals for our pool and performed a thorough inspection of our mechanical equipment. I would give negative if I could. We hired downes pool on july 2, 2018 for a custom pool at our home in Long Grove, illinois. We were told it would take approximately 1-1/2 years to build. Prior to our build their main foreman had cancer and left but they still guaranteed they could complete the job. Then the owners son Mike downes was suppose to be the main foreman but half way through he had shoulder surgery and was no where to be seen and the owner was dealing with his personal problems . So no one was overseeing our pool build. We added a grotto to our pool which they never got right after…

Mike, Brian, Zach and all the crew at Downes Pool did an amazing job. Mike came out and helped us design and build our dream pool, Brian took it over from there and had the pool dug, steel frame work, cement, plaster, and all the equipment done in 2 months. The job they did was amazing, everything works perfectly as it should, they helped us get the salt levels perfect and we have little maintenance due to the system they installed. I would highly recommend Downes Pool to anyone looking to build a pool. Thank you to all of you!

Unfortunately, our family did not have a good experience with this company. We just moved into our home in fall of 2024. We went with this pool company since they had been servicing the pool for the previous owner for years. Initially, when they opened the pool, we were happy with their service. As time went on we wanted to inquire about additional charges to the invoices they were sending. After three phone attempts to speak to management and getting no response, my husband emailed them the concerns on our invoice.
