My wife and I purchased a home in Bowling Green, KY. Our first home and pool! It's a 17,000 gallon in ground pool. When we purchased the home, the pool was normal chlorine. I called and talked to Rose about changing out to salt water. She was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions. Another Bowling Green pool store I called just wanted me to come in with a sample. Zero help over the phone. I pulled the trigger with Joe's. Spoke with Nick about getting my pool professionally vacuumed and was pleased with the results so I later contacted them to close my pool for the season aswell and they did exactly that. Awesome customer service and is a company that actually follows through.
Worst experience ever. Was quoted $5000 for pool liner and saltwater conversion. Was quoted $3000 more for concrete work that needed to be done. Total: $8,000. It is completely my fault that I did not ask for this information in writing. Paid $5000 deposit in April and asked if the pool could be completed by Memorial Day. Joe said it depended on the weather. In AUGUST, they finally started ripping out my old liner. On OCTOBER 6, Joe called to tell me he was done and he needed to "get some money in the bank." Worst pool service period, charged $1,000 for a salt cell but yet the exact same thing is $299 from other pool stores. It took the installer 30 seconds to install. STAY AWAY THEY ARE A SCAM!
