I'm editing this review! While the resurrection of my pool and initial review is correct I was told by Nick he would be back to get all the wrinkles out of the liner. He said it was too cold (this was the end of April) said he'd be back in June. Here we july 9th. After countless texts with no response on june 22nd he finally responded saying to give him a few days they were very busy. Still hasn't come. I also found two sharp objects under the liner that I told him about. I think they're screws he dropped when securing the rails. His initial job was great but his customer service is horrib…

From the very beginning Nick has been very informative and straight forward. We have rocks around our 27ft round pool, and it's partially sunk into the ground. He told us there was a chance walls could push in, and that rocks on the outside could push inward. He tried very hard to keep the walls perfect and so far seems to have successfully succeeded. The walls in 2 spots bowed inward, but after filling the pool partially they pushed back into spot perfectly. We had some rust on our walls and he fixed those spots for a reasonable price. Nick did a great job fixing our pool. We had rust and leaks on the wall where the skimmer was. He was able to patch our wall and replace our liner. He came early and emptied our pool for us and did the wall and liner in the same day. If it wasn't for him, we would definitely of had to get a whole new wall somehow or a new pool altogether. O stars Please understand I never write reviews and always give people the benefit of the doubt and love supporting small businesses but I wanted to make others aware of this scammer. I know people will say it’s my own fault for not doing my due diligence but that’s ok I just don’t want any one else to bet scammed by this guy. So With that being said…. I am very happy with my experience with Pool Duck. Nick was very easy to work with. I never expected my liner and repairs to be done within such a quick turnaround time. I'm very pleased with his workmanship and added knowledge Nick provided. Thanks Nick!

Nick has been a major help to my mother and I as we, mostly I, face a steep learning curve of taking over my parents' pool after the death of my father last fall. Pool Duck helped us order a new winter cover, disassembled the pump and filter and winterized our pool in an incredibly timely fashion (please read that as 'IN A MEGA TIME CRUNCH!!11!1!') to ensure no pipes or hoses froze in a sudden cold snap or worse given how weather in the Chicago area goes. Beware. Do not use this guy for your pool liner install Many wrinkles, many flaps and even left screws underneath the pool liner we’ve had to take down our entire liner and have somebody professional come back and put a new liner in This guy will nickel and dime you charge you extra for draining a little bit of water that he said he was fine with the night before and then comes out and punches it all up in the one spot and says there’s you know a couple feet of water he’s gotta remove. It’s another $50. Please take my advice and steer clear

Was told this was going to be an all day job for the size on my pool. Took 2 people, owner and wife, to just 3.5 hours. So much for a full day. I told them the pool and sand needed to be leveled out at the bottom. The owner said that we had alot of sand so leveling it shouldnt have been an issue but it was. It isnt level. Hard to level with just a broom. He left foot prints all in the sand and it was totally uneven. He said it would level out and flatten when the water filled. Well it didn't and now the bottom of the pool is all bumpy and I can still see footprints. Very annoying. Would love i…
