Pools by Design helped us turn a small ordinary patio and back yard space into a beautifully landscaped pool with a sauna. The work, from design through construction, was truly stellar. They utilized every square foot of our back yard space, and patio, to turn an ordinary and largely unusable space into a lovely, relaxing, oasis. They did it all on time and on budget. The construction team was superb. And they helped us set up the remote access to controls, which work beautifully. Very happy with our pool. The team (Dalton and Duane) was very helpful and available to address and questions or concerns that came up during the process. There were a couple minor things that came up and they responded quickly and got things taken care of. One pending fix and we are all set.

Absolutely disgusting experience with Ashlynd at Pools By Design AZ. I had to delay my pool project and financing for a year because I was battling cancer. Instead of showing an ounce of compassion, decency, or professionalism, Ashlynd chose to be rude, condescending, and outright demeaning. She talked down to me, belittled me over the communication gap, and made it very clear she wanted me to feel small over my financial timing. As a professional contractor I have to say Pools By Design is spectacular! They are responsive, diligent and professional. Mark and his team took care of our project in the best way, all the way to mobile apps to control systems. I would recommend them anywhere and anytime! Awesome job guys and very much appreciated! We have had hiccups during install and after but with diligence and hard work the crew here worked above and beyond to get us happy. I made multiple changes to the design and they never once said I can't. They worked with us. The issues post install were minimal but worked on without issues. The warranty department worked with me in every step of the way if we needed anything. The project manager was patient with us and had to show us a few times over until we understood what to do to maintain a healthy and beautiful pool! As an overview, the design was great, but getting it done was a terrible experience. A 4 month plan took 9 before we could use it, and after nearly a year there are still things not working. We signed the contract in mid December with our expectation set that the project would be completed roughly mid April. This was a fairly straight forward pool and hardscape design with a grill island. Total cost was a quarter million, so I expected with premium pricing, we would get premium service, but that was not the case.
