Before and after photos of this retaining wall project in our backyard. This was a big mess with rotted wood, creosote soaked tree trunks and a rotting ramp. It required lots of excavation, placement of drainage and filling what used to be a big hole. It’s so beautiful now! I can guarantee that no matter how awful it looks while they’re mid-project, the guys will neaten everything up. Although I would have liked better communication about issues and changes, the guys were really nice, very professional and did amazing work in 90+ degree heat and lots of rain. We used Proscapes (Western) again for more landscaping projects. They expanded a boulder wall on the other side of the yard, installed a crushed granite walkway that wraps around the front and side of the house, and set up more perennial garden beds. Ps they warranty all plants for a year so we have that piece of mind. Plus they accommodated existing plants we wanted to keep. Finally we had planned to put in a second flagstone walkway, but mid project we pivoted and they instead created a full flagstone patio. It looks so amazing next to our deck! We could not be happier with the work Proscapes, LLC did at our home. The back corner of our house had become the place where we hid all the things we didn’t know what to do with. Proscapes did a full softscape and landscaping renovation for us in Mount Horeb and we’re really happy with how it turned out. The crew was professional and communicative throughout, and the finished yard looks great. Proscapes completely transformed our backyard, and the crew is the reason this review is a five. Our lead, Darien, ran the whole project and was everything you’d want - prompt, thorough, and genuinely great to communicate with. Anything we wanted or needed, we talked through together, and he made sure it was done right rather than just done fast. He even came in by himself on a Saturday to get us finished ahead of schedule, which we didn’t expect and really appreciated. I absolutely loved working with Western! I was impressed by their thoroughness in planning our landscaping and even more impressed with their attention to detail and flexibility that is needed with new construction home lots. I appreciated the honest communication from the team and genuinely appreciated their commitment to making our lawn up to the standards our plan entailed.
