If i could give 10 stars I would! So far working with Rising Sun Pools has been fantastic. From the first consultation to the dig date, the entire team has been on communicative and responsive to any questions. The investment of a pool can be very overwhelming, this was not our feeling while working with Rising Sun. Any permitting questions …. BOOM… they either answered or handled for me. They installed my pool, failed to properly backfill and compact the base. They had to come back out to fix a sinking hole at the bottom of the pool that caused a huge crack in the concrete they poured, and my expensive paver patio keeps sinking in spots. We've had to pay to have our entire travertine patio ripped up so that the base can be fixed. We've asked them to just simply come back and fix the backfill issue but they won't respond to our emails, calls, and even a certified letter we sent outlining the issue. Been a customer for 5 years… decline in service will ensure me moving to another company. Starting in the fall, had pump problems, turned pump off. Started service request with specific details. Technician visited…no communication…came home pool was running …short inspection showed still had pump problem ..called back and had re-schedule another visit for the same problem ….tech comes out, fixes the problem, communicates, and actually finds another minor problem that he fixed..2 weeks later…2 bills. You're dealing with a generational business, a family that does pools the way old school families used to pass down blacksmithing or masonry. The Concrete pools are especially impressive in my opinion. Sometimes I hear Tara on the radio commercials while driving, and the audio quality is so clear that I panic a little because I think she's in my car. Full range of chemicals and free water sample testing. The kind of business that will actually remember you, especially if you are a regular. If I could give 1000 stars I would! Logan and Nate are the best. We purchased a new home with a pool and had tons of questions. Both Nate and Logan were extremely patient with us throughout the process and helped us maintain our pool while we relocated to NC. They are honest and are always willing to point us in the right direction when needed.

Rising Sun initially built our pool back in 2002. 24 years later the pool finally needed a new liner. Talked to Rising Sun about it and they made the entire process so easy. Everyone from initial meeting to the final pick up of the vacuums went perfectly and everyone did an outstanding job. The liner fit perfectly and turned out beautiful. I would highly recommend them for any of your pool needs.

Rising Sun has been around since I was a kid growing up in Raleigh. I talked to four different pool companies, but when Paul came out, he did a great job showing and talking things over about how the process would work, etc. He was very personable and I just got a good feel for him. I will say unlike my first pool there is a lot that goes into this process and it's a wonder they can deal with everything as good as they can/do. My best advice is to ask questions, and Paul has been very good about always getting back to me or having the right person get in touch with me. Like I said building a p…
