While we were satisfied with the overall finished product, the owner (Chad) was very different to deal with. Hung up on my husband on one occasion when he had a concern about Chad's demand of paying in full for an auto cover that was on backorder and no timeline for delivery and gave no other options/solutions. This is not how I would expect the owner of a company to behave.

Our family cannot thank Chad, Susan, and the crew enough for the amazing pool! Chad worked with our difficult landscape, problem solving along the way and creating our dream pool. We have not had one issue, and all work was done professionally and timely (one full week start to finish!) THANK YOU!!

Chad and his team were all great to work with, very responsive and respectful. It was just a good experience all around. Our pool was installed in less than 10 days and they were more than willing to make our experience as good as possible. If I ever move, I will have Chad put in my next pool!

Chad and his team did great work. Process was smooth from start to finish considering the wet year we’ve had. Highly recommend Backyard Paradise to anyone putting a pool in.

Has to be the worst pool builder in the Des Moines area. Over promise and under deliver. Poor communication and lacks basic pool knowledge. They will trick you with the nice looking showroom pools, so beware.
